You must have a boat licence to drive this boat. The paper document may be requested by the owner on the day of booking, so do not hesitate to confirm with the owner the type of licence required for this specific rental. Please note that it is possible to book the boat without being the skipper yourself at the time of charter.
Before accepting a booking request, the owner may carry out a check of the hirer’s nautical CV to ensure that they are experienced enough to hire the boat. The owner can also adapt their check-in to the port (training, help leaving the port) according to the nautical skills of the renter. Do not hesitate to discuss this with the owner.
